What we collect

Nothing you type. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are never transmitted to a server, never logged and never stored anywhere we can see.

Local storage

The site stores one small preference in your browser's local storage: whether you chose light or dark mode. That value never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Cookies and tracking

There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party analytics scripts embedded in the pages.

Hosting

Like any website, the host serving these pages processes standard request information (such as IP address and user agent) in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. That is a function of web hosting generally, not something NWS Calc collects or uses.

External connections

Fonts are served with the page. A small number of calculators need live third-party data to be useful at all — the currency converter fetches exchange rates, for example. Those calculators say so on the page. Every other calculator works fully offline once loaded.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what happens to your data, the page will be updated. Since we do not collect contact details, there is no mailing list to notify.
